Create an event in a certain calendar
Method 1
- When viewing your calendar(s), click "Create Event" on the left side of the screen.
- Type the name of the event, and choose the start and end times/dates.
- Select the calendar you wish to add the event to in the drop down list beside "Calendar"
- (Optional) add a place in the "Where" field and type a description of the event beside "Description"
- (Optional) By default, you will be reminded by email and a pop-up in the web interface (which also reminds you on your smartphone) 10 minutes before the event. If you want to set a different time, change these settings under "Reminder" in the grey area.
- Click "Save"
Method 2
- In the main body of the calendar, click the section that corresponds to the date and time of the event.
- Type the name of the event in the "What:" field.
- Select the calendar you wish for the event to go in from the "Calendar:" drop down menu.
- (Optional) If you wish to fill in any additional information about the event, click "edit event details" and it will take you to a more involved screen where you can edit details, as in Method 1 above.
- Click "Create Event" and it will appear in your calendar.
