  Import your MedSis calendar to your medportal calendar

To import your MedSis calendar to your medportal calendar:

  • Sign into medportal
  • Click the "Calendar" icon in the top left or go to http://calendar.medportal.ca
  • Click the drop-down arrow to the right of "Other Calendars"
  • Choose "Add by URL"
  • Paste the .ics link from MedSIS into the URL field (log into medsis and from the left-hand menu select iCalendar and copy the URL). Do not check the box to make the calendar public. Press OK.

    • Your calendar is now added to your medportal view. You can subscribe to it like any Google Calendar on a mobile device or desktop calendar application. You can also copy select events from that calendar to your main calendar if you prefer.

    *In your google calendar settings you can set up email notifications under "other notifications" to be notified if the calendar has been changed*
